PTA Events
6th Grade Social Dances are Starting Soon!

The Social Dance is a time-honored EMS tradition of more than 40 years! 6th graders have an opportunity to learn traditional ballroom dancing while having a great time socializing with their peers. 

This 5-class program taught by Arthur Murray Dance School and provides students with a fresh, new approach to dance. Win fun prizes like Sephora Gift cards, Fortnite V- Bucks cards, and more..... 

Deadline to enroll Sept 19th - Tickets $150 per student for all 5 sessions, 

Cost includes 5 dances with instructions & prizes.

Fridays Sept. 20, Sept. 27, Nov. 8, Nov. 15, and Nov. 22 - 6:30 pm -7:30 pm.


Poster Making fun! 9/16/2024 3-4pm

6th graders are invited to create posters to promote upcoming school dances. Supplies, snacks, and prizes provided. Art Room 007

Welcome Coffee - All Grades - Sept 18th 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Large Cafe

The welcome coffee is an informal interaction to learn more about the curriculum, PTA events, the numerous enrichment programs for our kids, with opportunities to ask questions, and more. You'll meet our Principal, Marc Guarino, your grade-specific administrators, and counselors. Additionally, we'll offer a sneak peek into the enriching programs and other activities facilitated by the PTA to benefit your children.

PTA Membership Coordinator - Are you a strategy person, perhaps a champion fundraiser? This vital role involves engaging our school community, creating and implementing strategies to boost PTA membership, and developing incentive options to attract new members. Your efforts will directly support our students, teachers, and families and significantly impact our school environment. 

Health and Wellness Committee: Responsible for implementing PTAC initiatives to the EMS community and running other Health and Wellness events at EMS.

Support Enrichment & Educational Programs AT EMS! 2024-2025

PTA Membership is essential to fundraising efforts that support enrichment opportunities for EMS students, including academic programs, social events, and teacher support. This year, we aim to increase our per-student expenditure on all initiatives that benefit EMS and 100% family participation, with donations funding initiatives in art, culture, music, field trips, and more.

Support the Greenwich High School Girls Squash team “Squash Out Cancer”

MSquash has launched Squash Out Cancer, a series of squash events, auctions, and activities in partnership with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) to raise vital funds for pediatric cancer research.

The Greenwich High School Girls Squash team is passionate about making a difference, and we invite you to join us in this critical mission. 

All proceeds will support the doctors and scientists at MSK Kids, the pediatric program at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC. Please contact for more information or corporate donations.

EMS 7th Grader 5k walk/run Fundraiser to Fight Cancer

Multiple Myeloma is an incurable, but treatable blood cancer. On Oct. 5th Connor O'Neill is participating in the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation 5k walk/run in NYC to accelerate new treatments and a cure for Multiple Myeloma patients like his Dad.

90% of all donations are used for research and programs.
