Open EMS PTA Volunteer Roles

The EMS PTA is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization, and our work is only possible because of the time and talents of our community. Whatever your skills or interests, there are many ways to get involved and make a positive impact.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following EMS PTA Executive Board positions for the 2026–2027 school year:

VP of Curriculum Enrichment (1 position) – Helps bring engaging educational programs and speakers to EMS by working with the school and PTA to plan enrichment opportunities for students.
VP of Fundraising (2 positions) – Provides oversight and support for PTA fundraising events and initiatives to help meet the organization’s annual funding goals.

8th Grade Families:

Order a Custom Graduation Yard Sign

This year, you can buy a custom, optional EMS graduation yard sign for your graduating 8th Grader. Show your EMS pride, support the 8th grade DC Trip Scholarship Fund, and celebrate your student all by purchasing the sign.

The signs will be distributed in front of school on a date in early May.

Looking for Speakers from Particular Fields

Want to help create an inspiring day for our 8th graders? Consider participating in this year’s EMS Career Day which will take place Tuesday, May 26.

We welcome speakers from all professional backgrounds, but are currently seeking individuals working in particular set of fields, which can be found in the latest GatorBytes edition.

We are seeking individuals who can speak about their career, as well as volunteers to help run the event. If you’d like to participate in either capacity, please email enrichment@emspta.org.
