11th Annual Gator Walk - October 25, 2024

EMS Gator Walk is the only student fundraiser for the year. It is separate from any money donated to the PTA. The school used the proceeds from the Walkathon for the Student Activities Fund, buying equipment for outdoor recess, student clubs, sports & music programs, field trips & more. The goal is 100% student participation.

In the GatorWalk, each homeroom competes to show which has the most school spirit and creativity.
The theme this year is “Lights, Camera, Action.”

Cool prizes, such as an Apple Watch, Apple AirPods Pro, JBL Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker, and more, are awarded to the top fundraisers in each grade. In addition, everyone who participates gets a chance to win various raffle prizes.

Pledge Forms were due today but will still be accepted on Monday.  All classes with 100% participation will be treated to lunch.

Students have been busy preparing to show off their creativity and school spirit at the Gator Walk in 2 weeks!  All parents are welcome to come cheer.

Schedule of Events: 12:30-2:00 pm: Students walk, eat ice cream, and judge another grade with grade times as follows:

1:00-1:30: 7th grade walks

1:30-2:00: 8th grade walks

Volunteers will help set up, direct students during the walk, serve ice cream, take photos, clean up, and (of course) cheer loudly.  Volunteers must commit to being present for the whole event.  We appreciate your help!
