10th Annual Gator Walk - Friday, October 20

EMS Gator Walk is the only student fundraiser for the year. It is separate from any money donated to the PTA. Proceeds from the Walkathon contribute to the Student Activities Fund, buying equipment for outdoor recess, student clubs, sports & music programs, and field trips. Our goal is 100% student participation.
Each homeroom competes to show which has the most school spirit. Cool prizes, such as an Apple Watch 8, Apple AirPods Pro, JBL Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker, and more, are awarded to the top fundraisers in each grade. In addition, everyone who participates gets a chance to win various raffle prizes.  
12:30-2 Students walk, eat ice cream, and judge another grade with grade times below:
12:35-1: 6th grade walks
1-1:30: 7th grade walks
1:30-2: 8th grade walks
2-2:25 Full school assembly


All parents are invited to come cheer for their students, and we need parent volunteers to help at each station.



The Gator Walk’s success depends on volunteers. Please sign up to help us with tasks such as setting up, directing students in the path around school, serving ice cream, taking photos of kids, cleaning up, or other volunteer jobs. Parents are needed on October 20th from 12pm-2:15pm. Please only sign up if you can stay the whole time. Thank you for your help!
