We hope everyone had an amazing summer, we are excited to welcome you and your children to Eastern for the 2026-27 school year.

The PTA is already working on many activities to bring our community together as well as to support our teachers and staff in all that they do. All our efforts are possible thanks to your generous contributions.

Become a PTA Member. Parent volunteers work with the school’s teachers and administration through various committees to enrich the learning experience and help the school thrive. Every dollar you donate helps EMS students. Get Involved. Our community relies on YOUR generosity! Whatever your skills or time commitment, whether in person or from home, we have many ways for you to contribute and make a positive impact. Our goal is to connect as many engaged people as possible to the school in whatever ways they are willing to participate. Come to the Open House. Grade 6 (Date TBD) & Grades 7-8 (Date TBD). This is one of the only opportunities to meet your child's teachers and experience a mini version of his/her day, visiting each classroom. Parking is difficult, so get there early to allow time to find a spot and be on time. Parking is also available at Riverside School. The school will send more information about open house closer to the date.

Welcome Coffee - All Grades (Date TBD) 

The welcome coffee is an informal way to learn more about the school curriculum, PTA events, the numerous enrichment programs for our kids, and more. You'll meet Principal Marc Guarino, grade-specific administrators, and counselors. Additionally, we'll offer a sneak peek into the enriching programs and other activities facilitated by the PTA to benefit your children.

Picture Day (Dates TBD)

More information about how to place orders for your child's school photos will be available at the start of the school year.

Gator Wear

Students will be asked to wear Gator Gear throughout the year to show school spirit. Get yours today from EMS PTA Spirit Wear Store.

Calendar

Remember to check the calendar on EMSPTA.org for upcoming events and programs, including Grade-Level Coffees, Open House Nights, and PTA meetings. You can also sync the calendar to your personal one. 

Arrival and Dismissal info. Marc Guarino, EMS Principal, will email detailed information. The school start and end times are the same for ALL students. Start time will be 8:15am and end time will be 3:00pm. Please do adhere to the traffic rules for the safety of our children.

Lunchtime. Children can bring their own lunch or purchase a meal from the school cafeteria with money from home or a funded MySchoolBucks account. Please visit the Food Services page to set up a MySchoolBucks account and for more information on menus, prices, etc. Get the MySchoolBucks app for Apple or Android.
