Old Greenwich School and Riverside School invite EMS parents to attend Social Awakening by Max Stossel on the evening of Thursday, May 2nd, at 7 PM, at the Eastern Middle School auditorium. Tickets are available online. Max will highlight some of the ways in which technology is designed to be addictive and distracting discuss how it is affecting the minds of our children provide recommendations on how to address some of the related challenges that families face in today's world The presentation will conclude with an open discussion of what is working and not working in households. We expect this evening to be a helpful conversation for parents looking to navigate the difficulties of the healthy use of technology. The EMS PTA is hosting Max, who will present to 7th graders earlier in the day.
